The casino is typically smoking and the machines horribly tight compared to my play almost everywhere else.I have to question if the tribal 'gaming commissioner' is really the fox guarding the hen house here. The buffet has great grilled veggie, salmon, and meats, which were super fresh when I arrived at the 11 am opening time. They also give you drink coupons to use each day for free booze. They convert the restaurant into a Diamond Lounge from 2-9 pm, where you can order appetizers hot off the menu. If you are a Harrahs Diamond Level or higher, this is a great hotel. Not elegant like Scottsdale but I had a players club rate which made it very inexpensive. Also weird to traipse with luggage from registration desk through the pool area to get to the room but later discovered, with rental car, I could drive all the way around the back, past the human resource trailers. Larger pool unheated, sadly, with sign 'closed for winter' despite 70 degree temps and towels available. Weather was sunny and the hot tub was heated, though small. Room was OK with newer flatscreen tv and in-room coffeemaker but pillows worn & wi-fi slow (at times non-existent). I requested and received a room facing the pool on the first floor, which previous reviewer reported had best chance of decent wi-fi connection.
